The
Mustangs Band
has been performing together since
1992. We play all the top dance hits from
the 60's to now. We also have a fat
selection of Sinatra, Big Band and Jump
Blues. Our goal is to keep the dance floor
packed...from 60's Soul to Sinatra, 70's
funk and Classic R&B...there is never
a dull moment.

The
Mustangs are an 7 piece band with 3 lead
singers....total of 10 players.
We have a nice big horn section, a
percussionist & lots of vocals
producing a very big sound and diverse
repertoire.
We
are 100% live-no sequencers, no
soundtracks. We play a wide variety of
styles. Over the past 14 years we've built
a repertoire of songs that are geared to
keep the dance floor packed all night. See
our song list and watch our
video.
Audience
members of all ages can't get enough. And
let me tell you, the band is having alot
of fun as well! So come on down and have a
whirl on the dance floor, sing along with
the tunes, or just relax and
enjoy.
And
now, meet the band:

David
Akers
was part of Wilson Pickett's touring
band for many years. David's vocals covers
alot of ground-from James Brown, Sly,
Commodores, Earth Wind & Fire all the
way back to Louis Armstrong and Frank
Sinatra.

Ignatius
Mason -doubles
as lead singer and is also a slamming
drummer. Ignatius covers all the classic
R&B favorites from Otis Redding to the
Four Tops, motown, Stax, and
more.
Pat
Amakur-
covers all the classic hits from Aretha,
Etta James, Tina Turner and much much
more. Pat also has a vast repertoire of
contemporary R&B.

James
Duval -

David
Panzer-The
Mustangs' bandleader, sings a wide variety
of rock & roll. He traveled the world
as lead guitarist of Wilson Pickett's
touring band. He has also worked with the
Flamingos, Gene Chandler, Sam Moore (of
Sam and Dave), and many other
legends.

Horns-Our
dynamic three piece horn section (sax,
trumpet and trombone) gives the raw feel
and 100% live sound. The horns bring to
life the hits of the 60's through now and
especially the big band and jump blues
selections.

Apple
Jack,
our percussionist who brings congas,
timbales, and all the bells and whistles
that make that signature motown and 70's
sound.
